There have been many books published on the United
Arab Emirates dealing with
different aspects of the country, its history and its people. The
National Media Council (and previously the UAE Ministry of Information
and Culture) has
commissioned a number of such books, among these is the United Arab
Emirates Yearbook. Published annually, it provides
a wide-ranging, up-to-date resource for anyone interested in an informed
overview of the rapid changes taking place in
all spheres of UAE life. The Yearbooks for 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007
and 2008 are available here in English, French and Arabic
