Abu Dhabi Embraces the Emirate's Brand Identity

Residents of Abu Dhabi and visiting tourists have both embraced the Emirate's new brand identity, as they believe it captures the spirit and essence of the destination, according to the results of a recent survey carried out by The Office of the Brand of Abu Dhabi (OBAD). GCC tourist influx into Sharjah has substantially grown in summer 2008, registering over 170, 000 tourists in the first half of 2008. The tourist influx is expected to see further increase up to the end of summer season. Number of South Korean visitors to Dubai increase 50%

The number of South Korean visitors arriving at Dubai International Airport (DIA) has increased by 50 per cent at the end of the first half of 2008, in comparison with the numbers by end of 2007, according to figures by Dubai Naturalisation and Residency Department (DNRD).
