President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has issued instructions to offer US$10 million to Djibouti, as a support to its foreign balance of payment. Khalifa's gesture reflects brotherly ties, solidarity and assistance to the government of Djibouti to meet its obligations in regard to commodity imports and other necessary items.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Charity and Humanitarian Foundation (MBRCF) has embarked upon a number of charity projects in various parts of Iraq at a total cost of over Dh4.93 million. The projects, which include schools and health centres, are part of the foundation's concerted efforts to help the Iraqi people. Rabat - President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has donated US$300 million to upcoming Moroccan Energy Fund to ease the effects of soaring energy prices on Morocco, according to Moroccan Energy Minister HE Amina Benkhadra. The Zayed Charity Initiative for community development has launched the first-ever programme in the Middle East for endoscopy-based open heart surgery for poor cardiac patients. UAE Ambassador, Isa Abdullah Al-Basha yesterday presented to the Secretary General of Al-Zubair Foundation, Dr. Ibrahim Abdul Halim, a cheque of Dh1.322 million from the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA). The UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA) has set a foundation stone to rehabilitate the Palestinian refugee camp, Al Nairab, near Aleppo city in Syria.
