General Authority for Civil Aviation has signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nigeria in Abu Dhabi to increase number of air trips between the two countries. Captain Ayesha Al Hamili, Head of the Air Transportation Section at the general authority, signed on behalf of the UAE, while Dr Ay Kabour, director of Air Transportation in Nigeria, signed on behalf of the Nigerian Transport Ministry. The United Arab Emirates represented by the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has initialed 'open Sky' Air Services Agreement (ASA) and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg on 21st May 2008 in Abu Dhabi. UAE, Libya sign air transport deal

Tripoli - The UAE and Libya signed Wednesday an air transport agreement to boost economic and commercial cooperation. The agreement was signed at the conclusion of a visit to Libya by a UAE civil aviation delegation. The United Arab Emirates and India signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on flight services between them. Aviation authorities in Egypt and the United Arab Emirates to increase will sign, by the end of September, an aviation agreement aimed at increasing flights between the two countries, an Egyptian official said on Wednesday. Sharjah's Air Arabia will operate two flights a week between the Sharjah Emirate and Yemen as part of efforts to enhance trade and tourist exchange. The Dubai Aviation Department (DAD) signed yesterday a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for air transportation with the Republic of Congo.
